Augustine, ale okazjonalne starcia z Indianami Guale trwały jeszcze do roku 1601.
Kolejne mniejsze bunty Indian Guale miały miejsce w latach 1608 i 1645, jednak nie powstrzymały one znacząco procesu europejskiej kolonizacji ani działalności misyjnej w tej części hiszpańskiej Florydy.
