Wendell Bell (* 27. september 1924, Chicago, Illinois, USA† 3. november 2019) bol americký sociológ a futurológ a emeritný profesor sociológie na Yale University.
Kariéra Narodil sa v meste Chicago v USA. Študoval na Fresno State University v štáte Kalifornia. Od roku 1963 do roku 1995 pôsobil ako profesor na Yale University.
Od roku 1960 sa zaoberá futurológiou. Zaoberá sa tiež sociológiou mesta, sociálno-územnými analýzami, teóriou politických a sociálnych zmien. Je autorom dvojzväzkovej publikácie Foundations of Futures Studies - Základy štúdii budúcnosti. Žije v New Haven v štáte Connecticut.
