Lo TER d'Occitània es lo malhum de linhas TER que cobrís la region administrativa Occitània, autoritat organisatritz dels transpòrts dempuèi lo 7 d'agost de 2017. Aqueste malhum es lo resultat de la fusion dels ancians malhum TER de Miègjorn-Pirenèus e TER de Lengadòc Rosselhon pròpris a las ancianas regions.

Lo TER d'Occitània comenguèt en 2016, amb los ancians malhums TER, une frequentacion de 21 milions de viatjaires suls 543 trens de las 20 linhas ferroviàrias e 43 linhas per autocarris del malhum, circulant sus un ret ferroviari de 2 514 km e entre 274 garas e punts d'arrèst. Lo nombre de vitjaires per mejana jornalièra es d'unes 56 000, çò qu'equival a 3,66 viatges per abitant e per anLa region compta 5 730 753 abitants per una superfícia de 72 724 km2..

Istòria Lo malhum apareguèt après la fusion de las dos regions administrativas del Miègjorn Pirenèus e del Lengadòc-Rosselhon, lo 1èr de julhet de 2017.

Abans la fusion de las regions

Estats Generals del Rail e de l'Intermodalitat A partie d'abril de 2016, la tota novela region Occitània organiza los Estats Generals del Rail e de l'Intermodalitat, una concertacion territoriala lançada per ensejar de definir una dralha clara pels ans a venir al subjècte del ferroviari e los desplaçaments en transpòrt en comun dins la region.

Unes punts sortiguèron de la concertacion, e constituisson d'òbras per la region: Melhoracion de la "qualitat de servici". En 2016, los TER d'Occitània son mai sovent en retard, en mejana, al respècte del rèsta de França., una espèra principala dels usatgièrs essent la ponctualitat del servici, la region vol trabalhar sus aqueste punt. Un autre desir es de melhorar de correspondéncias entre TER e autocarris, mas tanben un melhor servici en gara e dins los trens. L'armonizacion de la tarificacion. Des tarifs "mai lisibles", e "competitius" al respècte dels autres servicis, coma lo TGV o lo cotranspòrt. Es tanben previst, per 2020, una ofèrta "intermodala", regropant totes las transpòrts de la region (TER, transpòrts interurbans, etc). Lo manten de linhas fragilas, e una adaptacion de l'ofèrta. Autrament dich, de tornar a un bon nivèl las infrastructuras de las pichonas linhas en mal estat, aumentar la frequéncia, e crear de novèlas arrèsts, per exemple en bòrd de plaja per un sercivi d'estiu. Un accès melhors a las garas e trens pels usatgièrs de mobilitat reducha, malvesents o malentendents. Investir dins las linhas granda velocitat, per aleugiar las linhas classicas e permetre d'i far circular mai de TER. Organizar de transpòrts a la demanda e suprimir los doblons entre las ofèrtas ferroviàrias e rotièras quand existisson, e aquò, per racionalizar los costs. Crear de pòls novèls d'escambis multimodals. Coordinacion melhora entre los trens Intercités e TER.
