mały|Nearer My God to Thee w wykonaniu Ceremonial Brass and Concert Band of the United States Air Force Band Być bliżej Ciebie chcę (org. Nearer, my God, to Thee) – angielska chrześcijańska pieśń religijna, której słowa inspirowane były snem o drabinie biblijnego patriarchy Jakuba z Księgi Rodzaju (Rdz 28, 11–19). Oryginalny tekst został napisany przez unitariańską poetkę Sarah Fuller Adams w 1841 roku. Melodię do tekstu tworzyło wielu kompozytorów.
Angielski oryginalny tekst 1. Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee! E'en though it be a cross that raiseth me; Still all my song would be nearer, my God, to Thee, Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee!
2. Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down, Darkness be over me, my rest a stone; Yet in my dreams I'd be nearer, my God, to Thee, Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee!
